Line Maintenance Certifying Mechanic – Category A<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Category A authorization entitles the holder to issue Certificates of Release to Service after:simple scheduled maintenance work; repairing simple defects within the scope of the authorization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The issuing of Certificates of Release to Service is restricted to work which the the holder of the authorization has personally carried out. Category A is subdivided into subcategories relative to combinations of aeroplanes, helicopters, turbine and piston engines as following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who Should Attend<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Persons without experience which are interested to start a carrier in aviation and to obtain an Aircraft Maintenance License.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Objective<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After completion of the course participants will have the theoretical knowledge in accordance with the syllabus and knowledge level in conformity with EASA Part \u2013 66, appendix 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligibility criteria for Part 66 licenses<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n
<\/path><\/svg><\/span>An applicant for an aircraft maintenance license shall be at least 18 years of age with ability in reading and understanding English.<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n
<\/path><\/svg><\/span>800 hours for A1, A3 and A4 licenses<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n
<\/path><\/svg><\/span>650 hours for the A2 license<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n
<\/path><\/svg><\/span>Successfully completed all PART 66 exams governing European Regulations<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
